Other Commercial Projects

Rentech currently has a number of other commercial projects that utilize our technology to produce synthetic fuels and chemicals in a clean and beneficial way. The following is a list of just some of the projects that Rentech has undertaken.

Mingo Hybrid Energy Center. Rentech, Inc. and the Mingo County Redevelopment Authority are developing a project to produce ammonia nitrate and fuels in Mingo County, West Virginia. This project will use multiple feedstocks to take advantage of underutilized local resources to increase local economic impact. Waste coal, waste wood, and stranded natural gas are readily available in this region, ideal for a plant based on gasification technology.

Rentech-Peabody Joint Development Projects. Rentech's wholly owned subsidiary, Rentech Development Corporation, and Peabody Electricity LLC, a wholly-owned entity of Peabody Energy, entered into a Joint Development Agreement to evaluate potential synthetic fuels projects utilizing the Rentech Process.
